There is a User in the Process

Integrating UX (User Experience) into the workflow is crucial for several important reasons. This lecture will take us to the journey to explore why, and will explore the different methodologies:

UX focuses on understanding user needs and creating intuitive and easy-to-use interfaces. This ensures that the final product is easy to understand and operate for the target audience.

Bridging user needs and company constraints: UX designers bridge the gap between what users want and what the company can provide, considering technological, logistical, and economic constraints.

Improving customer satisfaction: A good user experience leads to higher customer satisfaction, which can result in increased brand loyalty and positive recommendations.

Efficiency in development: Incorporating UX early in the workflow can save time and money in the long run by identifying and solving potential issues before they become expensive to fix.

Competitive advantage: Products with excellent user experience tend to succeed more in a competitive market, which can lead to increased market share and profitability.

Continuous improvement: UX encourages a process of continuous learning and product improvement based on user feedback and analytical data.
